Some searches begin with a model. The memorable ones begin with a detail so small that most people would never notice it.
A brief measured in millimetres—and one word.
Our client was not looking for simply any five-digit Submariner. The specification was exact: reference 16610, dated 1998, presented as a full period set and bearing only SWISS beneath the six o’clock marker.
That tiny signature belongs to a short transitional chapter. It appeared as Rolex moved from tritium to LumiNova, before SWISS MADE became the familiar standard. Finding the correct watch meant looking beyond age and reference to the dial itself.

Can you collect my watch?
Yes. We can arrange a fully insured UK collection, or meet by private appointment in Sussex. Collection arrangements depend on value and location.
Do I need the box and papers?
